The six minute track is full of excitement! Fans and myself are even more excited to hear Control The Devastator's new productions in the future! You can hear how much work and time went into "Lacerations". Control The Devastator has come a long way since their beginning and you can really tell with their new song Lacerations. With the best recording and tightest sound they have ever had, I can't wait to get my hands on their new cd and experience this brutal new stuff! - Josh, vocalist of Aborning | The new control the devastator is churning, visceral and thick, yet ethereal, atmospheric and refined -Jon, Guitarist for Acruce Mortem I really dig the intro and the bass line throughout the song. I love songs that are "crunchy" and "deep" in their sound. This track carries a haunting atmosphere with it as well, giving it a very dark feel. I picture myself in a cold, dark forest while listening to it!- Jesse, Metalhead Alliance |
The song starts off and instantly draws attention to the drums and bass. Me being a total bass junkie, the bass guitar is definitely my favorite element of the whole song! The vocals are very distinctive with a high frequency and constantly changing the sound. The guitar riffs are awesome and perfectly put together! The song is constantly changing and about midway, it gets more instrumental and black metal influences are present. I highly recommend everyone to check it out if this sounds lie something you're into! Go ahead and give it a listen!
