Awaken The Ancient is one of them. I highly recommend this band for people who get into the more technical side of metal, but also for people who want to be introduced to the tech side. Awaken The Ancient is a band full of character and personalities! Getting to know each member has been an honor. There is still one member I have yet not met (you know who you are!). Music Awaken The Ancient's music is "in the circle" to what I love. I hear and love the Jazz influenced, technical, progressive sound. The vocals done by Luke are incredible! His range is spread out and it fits with the music. Adrien and Cole are responsible for the technical work on the guitars. I L-O-V-E it! I tell them all the time that I love it! The drums are perfect and I love Ryan who is the bassist. I am truly a fan, These guys are full of talent and from what I understand, they are always trying to improve. I highly recommend their newest EP. It has beautiful cover art on the front, it has five songs on it and my most favorite being the very first one "Axis Of Affinity " . Performance I love watching them on stage and if I am ever disappointed, it's always because their set time was so short!! I enjoy watching all of the members but specifically Luke and Ryan! They exert a lot of energy off of the stage, and you can really see them get into it! Their music sounds amazing live, I have seen these guys so many times. | About Awaken The Ancient formed in 2011 by Luke and Justin after their "sister" band failed. They began to write music and had their first performance in February 2012. Later that year (around August) Is when I met them! In 2013, they played their last show with the original bassist and recruited Ryan. Now, they are in the midst of writing more music for what will hopefully be their first full album! They are going more for that progressive sound that I talked about. Ryan on the other hand, has started an experimental side project with Marty Eason called Mezonz. They are working for a Jazz influence with an electronic taste. This Fusion sounds every catchy and I hope I can hear their work soon! click here to their website Last notes I do have ATA merch in my closet and for the past month and a half I have been trying so hard to get modeling pictures in but for some reason, it just doesn't work out! But I have recently got in contact with a local professional, so please do look forward to that. I know it's been a long wait for these pictures. Give Awaken The Ancient a "like" and a listen. I think they are great for anyone really. if you like my review, you're welcomed to show some loving!! |
